Rey is out of our experimental line.  She is 87.5% Alpine, but her granddam conformed to Nubian breed standards, so one more generation will result in American Alpines.  Rey was born quite small at 4 pounds, and is taking her time growing up.  She will remain dry for 2018.  She is tall and lanky, and is hands-down the sweetest goat on the farm.
